Lifts can be driven by electrical or hydraulic machine. A advantage of the hydraulic lift is that it can move itself to the nearest floor if the electricity is cut. However, our electrical lifts also have this feature, because of the UPS systems we install. Customers most commonly choose electrical lifts with machinery room over the shaft, which is a classic solution.
Machinery room is where the driving of the lift is located. Electrical drives must be positioned right beneath or over the shaft. Hydraulic drives can be distanced.
